2019 CSA Options - Order Period Has Ended for 2019 But Watch for Our 2020 CSA!
For our 2019 we are offering the best of our freshest products in weekly boxes. Each week, you will enjoy an array of specialty varieties produce, herbs, and microgreens that can't be found in local stores along with stories about how the food was grown, recipes for how to use what's in your box, and more! A CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is, essentially, a farm subscription in which you select a "share" which is the type of box that is just right for you! Happy Toes offers:
$400 20-Week Full Share - (ideal for 3-4 people) w/optional $150 flower add-on
$200 20-Week Half Share - (ideal for 1-2 people) w/optional $150 flower add-on
$200 10-Week Flower Share - A weekly vibrant, beautiful floral arrangement
What to expect in a share: Varieties and quantities of products will vary with the season but we aim to stock your box with 5-10 different items. Some (but not all) of what you can expect per season are:
Spring - microgreens, snap peas, Asian greens, radishes, spinach, arugula, green onions, kale, beets, and herbs
Summer - microgreens, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, green beans, collard greens, onions, leeks, herbs, and potatoes
Fall - microgreens, garlic, rutabaga, turnips, celeriac, kale, spinach, arugula, and herbs
How it works: Visit the online farmstand to select the share that's best for you, complete the CSA agreement (arrange on a regular pick-up time/location), and pay for the share either online or at the farm in cash, check, Venmo, or credit/debit.
Sign-up for CSA shares ends April 15 so we can adequately prepare to fill your boxes to the max with the best we have to offer!
Why are CSAs important? These share payments are critical to help our farm cover the annual start-up costs including seeds, compost, tools, seedling supplies, and many other necessary items that ensure we get a good start to the growing season.
